Giant Skull 2007

Giant Skull is the rope light installation for Halloween 2007, a collaboration with Jennifer Lim.
Dimensions: 5 ft x 11 ft x 7 ft
Materials: 1/2 in PVC tubing, rope light, motion sensor, micro-controller, speakers, wire ties, 9 in nails

The engineering design of the Giant Skull was based on the geodesic dome.

Approach the Skull and he greets you with a deep, growly "Happy Halloween!"

Move around a bit and he continues, "Welcome to Hillside Road!"

The Skull then urges you to "Prepare to receive candy!"

And leaves you with an evil laugh, "Bwa, Ha, Ha Ha!"
